Group Plan

International Health Insurance has strong ties with a number of the world's premier providers of health insurance. Through these relationships, International Health Insurance is able to offer discounts on group premiums. ‘Groups' can vary from a sport or social club to a company.

Whatever your group's needs, International Health Insurance can tailor coverage areas and include deductibles to minimize cost through lower premiums. Group coverage can be modified to include chronic conditions, dental, maternity, travel and others. Your group's health insurance plan can also be adapted to allow employees of different seniority levels to receive different levels of coverage.

Expatriate insurance group plans are not restricted to any particular country. So, if a group member relocates to another country or returns to their respective home country, their coverage will continue as normal.

Insurance companies understand foreign nationals will move from place to place, or job to job; therefore, group insurance plans are very flexible. Group plans allow new employees to join during the policy year, or end coverage for an employee during the policy year. If a member of the group leaves, many insurance providers will permit the insured to change over to an individual plan with the same policy conditions they enjoyed when part of the group.

Obtaining coverage for pre-existing conditions or maternity is much easier within a group plan. With groups of 20 or more members, coverage may include ‘Medical History Disregarded' status. This provides coverage for any pre-existing conditions that members of the group may have. From an employer perspective, this is an attractive benefit to offer employees.

Our staff can customize the coverage your group requires and offer premiums at a discounted rate. For a quote, please submit a group medical inquiry form, and an International Health Insurance advisor will contact you.
