InterGlobal was formed in 1998 as a joint-venture between Inter Group and The Mike Henry Group. In 2003, InterGlobal joined with another division of The Mike Henry Group, Global HealthCare Limited, to create the distinct, worldwide brand of international health insurance. In 2004, InterGlobal became an independent, accredited insurance company. All InterGlobal insurance plans are now underwritten by InterGlobal Insurance Company Limited, which has earned an A.M. Best rating of B++ (Good) and a full FSA rating.
